When looking back on my experiences in Philadelphia, my time in Girard College (elementary school), Taller Puertorriqueño (summer day camp), and Charter High School for Architecture and Design (CHAD) were so incredibly formative. Recently, I spent some time at Fleisher Art Memorial’s Teen Lounge, capturing their summer workshop on “Identity”. Fleisher’s Teen Lounge has free programming for teenagers that reminded me so much of my experience at Taller Puertorriqueño, where I took workshops focused on art and music. I will never forget all I learned and I know that the teens involved at Fleisher will never forget their learning experiences at the lounge. I am glad I was able to be part of their experience over the summer.
